A Journey Towards Innovation
The BIID Expo & Dialogue centred around the foundational aspects of industrialization, sustainability, environmental protection, green building materials, energy efficiency, green financing, and safety. This comprehensive event facilitated green trade practices, fostered the exchange of updated ideas and information, and provided an eco-friendly platform for connecting suppliers, trade delegations, technical experts, and vendors in the Bangladeshi market. Simultaneously, it aimed to establish profitable, long-term, and mutually beneficial business-to-business cooperation between local Bangladeshi companies and global counterparts.
In Bangladesh, sustainable business growth has been hindered by a lack of understanding of green concepts. While a few local industrialists have embraced business innovation to attract international buyers, the overall industry still requires greater exposure to green technologies. The journey toward innovation began in 2009, marked by the inception of the BIID Expo & Dialogue. Serving as a bridge for globalization, this initiative facilitated sustainable technology transfer for over 300 business entities.
At the BIID Expo & Dialogue, both Bangladeshi and global companies had the opportunity to forge lasting business partnerships. Attendees immersed themselves in the latest green trade practices, accessed updated ideas and information, and networked with like-minded professionals. This event provided a unique platform to connect with leading experts and explore cutting-edge technologies and products within the industry. With a strong focus on sustainability, green building, and energy efficiency, the BIID Expo & Dialogue equipped attendees with valuable insights and essential resources for success.
At the BIID Expo & Dialogue, industry leaders showcased cutting-edge solutions, fostering connections and knowledge exchange. CEO of Asian Power Generation Md Rafiqul Islam proudly displayed generator machines imported from China. Their offerings catered to both industries and residential apartments. The 30 KVA generator served households, providing power for lifts and lighting. Meanwhile, the 60-100 KVA generator handled AC, lifts, and lighting, with prices ranging from Tk 4 lakh to Tk 15 lakh. For industrial needs, the 300 KVA machines delivered 240 kilowatts, while the 1000 KVA generators supplied 800 kilowatts, ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply.
Director SOLARIC, Engineer Naznin Akther led Solaric Group’s stall, drawing visitors from various sectors, including industrialists and academicians. Their focus on renewable energy solutions, such as rooftop solar panels, resonated with industries like readymade garments (RMG), textiles, ceramics, and steel. Attendees sought quality products and services, recognizing the expo as an ideal platform for informed choices.
Connecting Experts and Innovators
A visitor from Badda, Engineer Ariful Islam, accompanied by friends specializing in solar panels and construction solutions, explored the expo. Their goal is to discover new and innovative products that enhance infrastructure. As industry insiders, they valued the learning opportunities provided by the exhibition. Such events facilitated connections with fellow experts and industry stakeholders.
